Payment
Games are tracked for pay purposes by the umpire in chief and scheduler, based on the schedule of assignments posted on the webpage throughout the season. It is essential that if you change your assignment with your partner e.g. doing plate instead of bases, or if your partner doesn't show up, you notify the scheduler immediately after the game as this will affect your pay rate.
Payment will be made on the league's records of games assigned to you and you should keep a record for yourself as well.. That way you will know how many games you have umpired and how much money you have earned (Pay Scale is at the bottom of this page.
When you receive payment, you will receive a statement showing all the games you are being paid for and whether it’s a plate or base assignment.
You will receive one payment at the end of the season, unless you also wish a second payment for games to the end of June. Unless you advise the umpire in chief to the contrary, you will receive 1 payment at the end of the season, usually within 10-14 days of the last playoff game.
You will be advised in advance, where and when the payment can be picked up
