Plate Equipment
In all of the parks there are large metal boxes that will contain plate equipment. If you are working the plate, make sure that you are wearing your ball bag and cup. The inside chest protector is to be worn under your umpire shirt, and over an undershirt. The shin pads should be worn under your pants.
Ask the coach to open the box for you and take out the mask and the shin guards. Please make sure that you return each piece of equipment to the box after the game so that the next umpire can use it! If you notice any equipment missing or damaged please let the scheduler and umpire in chief know
