Start Time & Minimum Number of Players

A Team must have a minimum of 8 players in the field in order to play. Failure to have 8 players in the field will result in a forfeit.  Teams and umpire are to arrive at the ball park by 6:00 p.m. or 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

- Games are to begin at 6:15 p.m. unless otherwise indicated on the schedule. For the regular season games, no new inning can start after 1 hour 45 minutes after the scheduled start time. Double headers will have curfews set by the league which may be different than these times.

- If either team does not have 8 players at the scheduled start time, there will be a 10 minute grace period. The umpire will inform the coaches when the start time has come, and will start the 10-minute grace period.

- The score for a forfeited game will be 1 run per normally scheduled inning. Example, a 6 inning game that has been forfeited will result in a score of 6-0 for the team that did not forfeit.

- The Visiting may start the game with less than 8 players since they are batting first. The team must have 8 players before they play defensively.

- Late Players shall be added to the end of the batting line-up.

- The batter in the 9th slot is NOT an automatic out. The batting order will simply rotate amongst the 8 players present.

- In the event of a forfeited game, the teams may play an exhibition game in which case the umpires will stay for this game.
